Wednesday Fun Session - INDOORS!

Fed up with being snowed in?

We are giving it one more go before Xmas.

Bishopston Leisure Centre is booked for tomorrow - Wednesday 22nd Decemeber - for the Wildcats between 6 and 7. Please arrive at 5:45 to make the most of the booking.

Parents invited to join in. Bring your trainers and be careful on the road over the common!

Parents Match Sunday 19th: OFF

Beaten by the weather again. Clearly the park is not an option and with freezing temperatures tonight we don't think it is a good idea to all meet at the bottom of the some of steepest roads in Mumbles. It also looks like it will feel about -6 on the beach tomorrow morning, so not surprisingly the Parents match is CANCELLED tomorrow.

With the boys off school all next week, if the weather improves and there is any chance for a run about we will organise something and send round a teamer txt.

Clearly we are paying for the nice run of weather we had in October.

If we don't see you - Happy Christmas - lets hope for some more action in the new year.

Neath CANCELLED

Unfortunately the Neath match tomorrow is cancelled. Although the pitches have thawed a bit, the conditions are still unplayable in Neath, and we appreciate the early decision from them.

First up, thanks for the turnout at Bishopston. It made the booking really worthwhile and we had a great session which we will do again after Xmas. In fact, thanks to everyone for the attendance at training all through the season so far. There are always times when players can't make it, but we have been impressed with the efforts everyone makes to come on a Wednesday.

With end of term school events coming up next week, this was the last training session of the year. We still have a couple of events though.

Sunday 12th Match against Neath Away. If the weather stays cold Neath will be the first place to freeze so keep an eye on the blog. However the forecast is a little better so this match is ON unless you hear otherwise.

Sunday 19th. Match vs Parents. Underhill Park. 11:00. Our traditional run out on a frosty Christmas morn. Mulled wine and mincepies will be served. Despite requests for full contact, this will be played under touch rugby rules.

Wednesday Training ON - At Bishopston

With all the bad weather lately we think the boys need a run out, and so have booked an INDOOR session at Bishopston Gym. We have booked the main sports hall and will do a range of games and fitness.

Training will be Wednesday at the usual time of 4:30 - 5:30.

Please attend if you can, as we have to pay for the whole Hall.

Also Please make sure you arrive at 4:20 so we can make a prompt start at 4:30. We will have to stop at 5:30 on the dot.

Latest news is that pitches are OK, and game is on. But there will be another inspection of the pitches first thing in the morning.
